My fedex came today with my perm loan mod docs!!

I was surprized when I got it in the mail to fill out..if they wanted them filled out they should have included them in the HAMP Packets...Mine is a fannie mae owned loan serviced by chase....did everyone out there with fannie mae owned loans have to do a financial information sheet 3 pages long or am I the only lucky one? (lol)

Shelley17...thanks for that info. We have a Chase owned loan as well. Interest only would reset in about 2 yrs. We never had to fill out any financial sheet either.

I just got the certified check to mail off for our 4th payment due Nov.1st. Once we get an answer we'll file Ch 13 if we get the perm. mod. and Ch 7 if we do not (we qualify for both). I would rather do the CH 13 and keep the house.

I wonder if they are modifying interest only loans first then fixed rate loans with hardships like loss of a job? If people who are offered Perm. mods can put that info out there maybe we can see a trend?

I have an interest only loan owned by Fannie Mae serviced by chase I also am getting ready to make my 4th trail payment they just asked for me to refax for the 3rd time the 2008 tax return..I called today to verify they recived the fax and they did and also have the other 2 I faxed (lol) go figure We are seriously considering BK chapter 13 to try and keep the house should they deny us.......

As I said before, Chase did not ask for a financial information sheet. But, we did have 2 other properties that were owned by Citimortgage...we ended up short selling them in July and August. Before this time, we had wanted to modify one of the mortgages and potentially move back into the house. During this process (before we realized that they wouldn't lower the payment enough...this was before mha), we had to fill out a financial sheet that listed all income and expenses. Perhaps this is a request that some financial institutions require while others don't.
