Confirmation needed PLEASE!

Readers probably know we are waiting for our Trial Mod papers effective 11/1. Should we make our October payment or not? Executive Office of Chase said that would be OUR decision to make.

JUST RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM OUR NEGOTIATOR:

"Per our Lenderlive system your package is being sent Fed Ex today. The tracking number is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The agreement will list the due date your information needs to be returned. "

WELL, GUESS WE'LL FIND OUT SOON WHAT IS UP. Tracking number is in FEDEX and shows delivery to us tomorrow. If the letter does not state terms and is just the amount to be paid per month for the 3-month(?) trial period, should it be signed and returned to Chase?

PLEASE need a little reassurance with your support. Thanks y'all.

Re: Confirmation needed PLEASE!

Seriously???!!!!! You got a confirmation number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WoooHOOO!!!!!! It can't get much better than that!!!

Let us know when that number starts showing that it's getting close!

Our ERT person said they are usually shipped next day or 2nd day air. Oh I hope you get it this week!

Ahh! What a relief to actually have a number in your hand.

I wonder what made them decide to push it through IMMEDIATELY, after just telling you that it could be 14 more days. You must have the magic touch!!!

Re: Confirmation needed PLEASE!

PIT BULL! HAHAHAHHA

I did check the FEDEX and it will be to me by 3 tomorrow! whoo hoo! NOW let's hope it is a good thing. If we sign, it will go by BY FEDEX SIGNATURE REQUIRED. AND as a matter of fact, we will have an envelope in it for them to return our copy as well as a letter of our understanding.

I don't know why the change. I wrote the CEO; he may or may not have read the troubling inconsistancies between departments when it comes to mod statuses, etc. I don't know. I said positive things about the negotiator because, truly she doesn't have control over the 3rd party mailings. Probably has orders to only do overnights IMMEDIATELY when it comes from above. That's my guess!

Re: Confirmation needed PLEASE!

I am so glad they gave you a tracking number..so its in Fed Ex hands now...the packet that we got stated what the amount of the 3 payments would be what they required of us and alot of info and they lead you to believe you will get a perm mod after successful completion of the 3rd payment still waiting nothing yet.. Look everything over with a fine tooth comb ask questions if you have to...and then get it back to them ASAP delivery confirmation of coarse

Re: Confirmation needed PLEASE!

The trial mod paperwork usually only lists a payment amount. Ours was official MHA paperwork and that was all it listed. It did not list what the interest rate would be or anything else.

Thanks everyone!

So, you are saying that you may pay payments and THEN if you ARE given a permanant mod option, it may stink and you've wasted your trial mod payments to them? mmmm.

Re: Confirmation needed PLEASE!

BobandArlyn -
That is correct. We made all 3 of our trial mod payments and then nothing. We were told our final mod was done and the paperwork was on the way. That was about 4 weeks ago. When I called last week I was told another story. I will believe it when I see it.

Arlyn - if it's the trial you expected and wanted, go for it. It will get you through Christmas. Maybe by then there will have been some more progress made. Maybe I'm nuts, but I'm starting to see a little movement here. Maybe we are starting to make some difference. Or maybe I'm just a tired old woman who let her guard down today. I don't know. I don't have my hopes up, and I've not stopped my work on this, but I am just seein .......somethin...???????

Re: Confirmation needed PLEASE!

OK, trial mod to be delivered by 3:00 today, got it at 2:51 my husband said. He wants to wait to go over the paperwork until I get home from work. Said the trial mod papers say payments down from $2069 to $1421 which is a nice savings for 3 months at least.

What's with having to fill out ANOTHER hardship affidavit??? They had to have one to get the Trial Mod? Don't know what else is in there until later.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been checking in and thinking about you ALL day!!

It sounds like the paperwork is what was expected, which is good.

Keep thinking positive! I'm so glad it arrived for you as promised (sort of...lol. at least it was only a few days late!).

Enjoy the next 3 months with your new trial payment

Hey RachelP, why the hardship letter again? Does it need to be the same as the first or can it be expanded. Afraid if too different, could be denied.

I have no idea. We had to send in a hardship letter before we did our forbearance. We received all the forbearance paper work and weren't asked for another hardship letter until about 8 months later, which was in August.

Re: Confirmation needed PLEASE!

BobandArlyn,
If the Trial Mod papers are like ours, the Hardship Letter form that Chase sent to you via Fed Ex has your Name and Acct # printed on the pages in contrast to the blank ones your most likely pulled off the WEB and filled out to get your original Trial Mod approval. We filled these out even though they were duplicate. Chase called us about 2 weeks after our first trial payment was paid just as a courtesy to make sure everything was alright. We took the opportunity for the lady to check our file and she confirmed that all the required paperwork was there. I don't think our Trial Mod payment with Chase includes T&I, which they have assured me several times it does.
I have a friend that has received a Trial Mod from another Mortgage compnay and his does appear to include T&I. Our balances and houses are approx the same.

I asked my monitor about this, and he said they want to know is our situation has changed in any way.

I wrote my first in may. I wrote an amendement in July as a hardiship letter #2. And today I wrote a third amenment.

My situation changed for better in terms of income, but also I got new bills from my medical hardship now apearing in my credit report.,..

At the end my situation is the same: I cant afford my original payment, but now I can afford a modified payment AND my new expenses of continued medical treatment.
