Executive Office Response re Trial Package

Executive Office to me:

I've received feedback from your negotiator. She stated that the packet has to go through our QA department and then be sent to our imaging system. She stated the turnaround time is approximately 10-15 working days. Please allow time for QA to review the loan.

From me to Executive Office:

Question, if it had already been through the QA and sent to imaging, why does it need to be sent to QA again? Doesn't seem logical. Our modified payment was to start November 1st, are you saying it is now going to be December 1st? Are we to continue to make payments for October? Why are the terms so secretative? Only know the modified amount for the trial. Can you provide the other info?

OK, think we are officially in the CHASE LOAN MODIFICATION ABYSS with the rest of you now!

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

That is so frustrating!

Why can't they tell you the terms over the telephone?

Even though my terms were absolutely crappy!!, Wells Fargo's loss mitigation was able to over view. Now they were not 100% accurate (a little tidbit detail discrepancy over a $7,000 balloon payment due in January).. *roll eyes* but at least they were able to tell me the start payment amount and read the negotiator's notes.

Hope you get it straightened out!!

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

We went through the same thing. Told the final mod was approved and in Q.A. for a "final" review. However, when I asked for all the terms and conditions all of a sudden they could not tell me anything. The week before they could read all the notes in the system and then all of a sudden they could not. The response was it is in Q.A. for final review. Then when we called back again we were told the final mod paperwork would be out to us soon. That was over a month ago and nothing further from Chase. It makes no sense and I doubt we will hear anything soon.

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

It IS craziness! Thanks for all your support. It is what keeps us being the pit bull! I know our situation isn't as immediate as the thousands of others, as our ARM doesn't adjust until 09/11, but we got started early. Husband retired, me about to. We will basically live on his retirement pension as mine is only about $560 per month which will not really pay for my health insurance! Have to retire because stress affects the health issues I have. I'll find SOMETHING to do and husband can do auto upholstery and loves doing it. So, no matter if we are in a tent, we just don't care as long as we are together! I know, it sounds corny....but soooo true!

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

Follow-up email from Executive Office..... unreal.

Because the documents are not on our imaging system, it needs go back through QA to generate the paperwork. I will have to contact your negotiator with your other questions. From an email I received from her, you were placed on a 90 day trial modification. After the trial modification is completed and if you qualify for a permanent modification, the terms will be listed in that agreement. I will let you know once I receive feedback in response to your other questions.

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

YET ANOTHER FOLLOW-UP FROM EXECUTIVE OFFICE..... uh, not sending $$.

Your trial agreement will still be due for 11/09 - 01/10. Since your packet was already approved through QA, management is still investigating that issue. The turnaround time may be less than the 10-15 working days since it was already approved. I have to give you the normal turnaround time, but you may hear something sooner. Please allow us time to work the issue and I will let you know as quickly as possible when your issue is resolved.

In reference to should you make your October payment, we cannot inform you yes or no as to whether or not you should make that payment. That is something you will have to decided. I hope this helps some. Please let me know if you have any other questions.>>

Thank you,

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

Wow, this is unbelievable.

It's unbelievable that all of this information and evidence of fraud, mishandling of government programs and lies is here on the forum, EVERY DAY, in PLAIN VIEW for the world to see, and NOBODY in Congress seems to think that this is worthy of their attention.

They have these WORTHLESS tribunals on the hill, lining the CLUELESS, LYING bank executives up along the table and ask them some questions, to which they give false answers, and the House Finance Committee wags their finger and says, "tsk tsk tsk, you better stop doing that!" and they execs say, "oh gee, we'll try harder" and then we go back to square one. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, billions of tax dollars are sliding through the hourglass of the American Public's coffers, completely out of reach of helping those for whom it was intended for...

It's like watching the federal government insert a shunt into the American Jugular vein, and allowing it to drain, in a steady, deadly stream, into the giant buckets being held by big finance. It's sickening.

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

What the heck... are they out of their mind. Are you sure that Chase is your lender and not Wells Fargo, as they sure seem to have the same BS style..

These trial modification stories are ridiculous. Terms will be laid out AFTER you make your three payments? No! Lay out the terms so the borrower can make an educated decision. FYI.. our lender said that our official paperwork will likely not be received until the 20th and the 1st payment is due the 25th. In other words, let's give the borrower who (on average) has very little knowledge of legal jargon and mail them their docs in the 11th hour, so they become so stressed that their home is going to be foreclosed on that their scrape the money together and are flying to the post office with the ink still wet to get those documents back to the Devil!!!!

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

.. this really gets my goat again (I feel like a broken record in type) another example of a lender trying to corner a borrower into giving more money, that may otherwise have decided to save a nest egg to move on with their life.

It's the carrot in front of the horse.

BobandArlyn - I absolutely agree with you - happy as long as you're together.

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

I have made the 3 trails payments and have no perm mod yet.. no terms.. no nothing...no answers only we are extended another 3 months because of their backlog.....the stress is awlful I am depressed all the time some days I handle it better than others.....Like Bob and Arlyn my husband retired because of his employer downsizing I also collect a small pension we have 3 pensions between us and because his employer went thru 2 bankrupties they shoved the pensions off onto the PBGC so we get about half of what we should have gotten..He fianlly found a fulltime job to offset the pensions but it only pays 11.00 per hour and we are grateful for it..we are approaching 5months behind its not to har to figure out you can't make 3150.00 per month in 2 mortgage payments bring home only about 3500. per month income give or take depending on if you get any overtime. And didn't I read somewhere that Fannie Mae is suppose to be streamlining the process in other word if they have your financial docs that are under 90 days old to use them instead of sending them over andover and over again....I thought I read that somewhere did anyone else????????????????

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

Unbelievable. They have no idea what they are doing with this. Someone needs to walk over to the printer and print out your paperwork, stuff it in an envelope and drop it in the mail. Not that difficult.

At least she's telling you you can make a payment if you want. They keep telling us not to. I was surprised to read that she said it's ok.

I'm glad she is emailing you back! Keep us updated!!!

Re: Executive Office Response re Trial Package

Yeah, and why can't they tell you the terms over the phone? We've been told the terms, in detail, of our supposed modification. Every time we call they read the terms to us straight from our account on their computer screen.
