Re: To those awaiting per mod papers

Made 3rd Trial Payment in August, 4th in Sept, and will make another shortly for October (they extended my payments 2 months ).

Told my "new" payment would begin 11/1. Informed that I would receive my final docs "sometime" in October. Have not received as of today 10/6.

Whole process began in March 2009.

Re: To those awaiting per mod papers

On 5th payment now after completing trial mod. Been told for about 5 -6 weeks I should "have them in a week or so", and to call back if I don't get them. Wen I call, I get the "Oh, sorry, they are real backed up, call in a couple weeks"

Utter BS

Re: To those awaiting per mod papers

That's what I thought. They are prolonging this process unnecessarily.

I don't trust this bank for a minute! I hope I am wrong ,but somethings up!

That aside...I wish all of you a speedy perm mod.

Thanks.

Re: To those awaiting per mod papers

So do they just want you to keep paying your trial payments ?

It seems like they are stringing us out for 3,4 or 5 months just to get the
trial payments while they decide if you get a modification.

If you dont get a permenant one, what do they do with the trial payments ?

In our case, they are telling us to not pay AT ALL. We thought it was great the first few months, but as the months went on to 4, 5, 6 and now 7 we started to panic and started saving those payments. It's a mess.

Re: To those awaiting per mod papers

Exclusive is exactly right. Chase is stringing us along for a few months, just to see if the market picks up or decide if a foreclosure makes better financial sense. Sneaky if you ask me!

Re: To those awaiting per mod papers

Submitted final paperwork requested to NACA 10/5 after DH spent 10/3 at the Save the Dream event in Phoenix. BTW, he got further there than most people do in a year outside of it, so it may be worthwhile to think about attending one of these if it is close. We were told to expect to "hear" something within 7-10 days. Still looking at rentals in the area as I am not completely convinced that a FedEx person will be at my door anytime soon.

Re: To those awaiting per mod papers

We are waiting for our permanent mod papers...supposedly Chase is outsourcing the paperwork...we should expect them within the next two weeks. I'm a little skeptical except they did tell us to not make a payment this month as this would mess up the final numbers. They said that any payment over the 3 would be applied directly to principal. We called twice and were given the same information that we were definately approved for a final modification.

Did you guys do a trial mod?

We are waiting on paperwork too. Supposedly we've been approved for a permanent mod. Everything has been approved and we are just waiting on the packet to ship to us. (like dozens of others!)
