I got my 5th set of "acceleration notice" paper work in the mail today...and as usual was followed on the same day with the postal service certified mail slip on my door notifying me of tried delivery. I taped the slip to my door with "PLEASE RETURN TO SENDER-I ALREADY HAVE 10 OF THE EXACT SAME THING!- THROW IT IN THE STREET IF YOU WANT TO." I think Chase is wasting all of the stimulus money on cutting down forests and repeatedly sending people the exact same thing instead of spending more time and effort reviewing and approving loan modifications! I think they have their priorities mixed up because it seems like they are spending a LOT of time stalling and repeating steps over, and over, and over.... How many times am I going to see this paperwork before I find out what the hell is actually going on? |

They are wasting a lot of money. I called and they said it was a standard mailing from another department. I also recieved the FedEx pakage again saying they did not have all my papaer work again....hmmm just faxed every thing in 3 weeks ago. I also called to make sure they got it. I called again and the lady was telling me to throw it away because it was just an automatic thing they send out every 2 months. Uhmm mine was 3 weeks apart. I had to ask her 3 times to check and see what they wanted. Finaly she came back and said they did not have a utility bill. I guess the one they said they had 3 weeks ago vanished in thin air. So I am faxing every thing again on Monday... |

Puppy need to call Chase ASAP if you have been going through the same crap I have. I called Chase on my way to work yesterday to find out that what I thought I was waiting for these last 3 months was really not even happening! I asked Lee on the phone how long most of the HAMP loan mods are taking and he told me...well ma'am you aren't in the HAMP program your are IN THE CHASE PROGRAM. So my response...um,what the hell is the 'Chase' program? And of course Chase doesn't even know the answer to that one. I then asked why I have been talking and calling the Fannie Mae group for the past 4 months if they never followed what they told me when they said they were entering me into the Obama HAMP program. Lee then told me 'well if you would like we could run the numbers and see if you qualify for the HAMP program.' Which he then failed to mention this was also my "application" and my only chance to apply. When he finished he said we do qualify for the HAMP and my payment would be reduced to $1287 per month, do you accept this offer". And I said "DO I ACCEPT THE OFFER? What do you mean do I accept it? I thought you were just seeing if I would qualify?" He said "No ma'am, this is the only chance you have to accept the offer." I don't know about everyone else but I personally would like to discuss this HUGE decision with my spouse. So I asked him "you are asking me to make a potentially life changing decision without talking with my husband. Are your kidding me? And if I accept this offer will Chase continue to review our app for their program in case we cannot afford this payment?" He says, "No this will take you out of the other program and you will have to start all over with everything again." After telling him out outrageous it was that they think it is ok to force me to make this choice without talking to my husband he finally talked to him boss and they agreed to let me have 10 minutes to call my husband and e would keep my file open on the computer and not take anymore callers until he called me back. We eventually took the offer because we decided that with the HAMP program we knew that we would have a set payment, probably permanently, and if we didn't we could potentially keep going down this dead end road with Chase's 'program' and possibly find them surprising us with a foreclosure sign on our front lawn some day. Please call Chase and be sure you know what "program" they are sending you through, you may be a surprised as I was to find out it is not the one you thought you were in! |
