if you were denied cause of hardship not permanent:

where you on the hamp trial payments

and what was your hardship?

current or behind on payments?

That was the reason I was denied. Ridiculous reason. Ridiculous. Then for some unknown reason they are re-reviewing. I never even sent in a rebuttal letter (though I was about to) I was not behind at the time. NOW I am behind.

I was denied for not having a permanent hardship according to the CHASE underwriter. I sent an appeal letter, got a call back the next day and was denied AGAIN. The denial was not logical and all, and totally ignores the facts: 9.3% ARM loan scheduled to reset in January 2010, mortage payment over 60% of my retirement income, medical bills......... So now I am going to reapply, because I am now 30 days late with my payment, and I am also hoping that NACA can help......CHASE is not complying with the rules.....

I guess i should have been more specific, too. Right now first and second mortgages take 61% of income. My son was paying half, but due to salary cuts and increased expenses (paying student loan) he had to stop this year. I sent proof of that to Chase BEFORE they said it wasn't a permanent hardship. I have no idea what that means. thought about buying a lotto ticket when I got that denial. I have a stable job, but can't sustain these mortgage payments.

can u prove he was paying like canceled checks to you ect?

I wasn't behind either when they said my situation wasn't permanent. Now I am. Now if they want to help me, they can contact me. I owe more than this house is worth and was willing to pay when I still had good credit. Now that it's shot, they can take this house and stuff it. My dad is going to buy a house for me (he buys but I'll make the payments) and I'm going to take advantage of the cheap prices out there. Let Chase have this house since they seem to want it so bad. And when I get another house, it won't be with Chase!!
