My "friend" got off the phone with a nice lady from Chase who was more than helpful,,,, she states DO NOT PAY any payment unless you receive DOCUMENTS!! The collection agency is setting up a FAKE 3 month trial periods with "over the phone" interviews. They are NOT suppose to be doing this! Only deal with loss mitigation!!
She stated that if he gets paper work from collections that it would be the first she has heard of it!!!!!

You will still be missing those docs. They are not going to do anything (if Chase ever does anything) until you get all the docs. She is right that the collections activity doesn't stop. I just had a call tonight but I am NOT waiting more than 5 seconds for their computer picks up. I picked the phone up, ready to talk, and no one is there. So how long do they expect me to wait? just listened,
when i got on the hamp payment plan, it was with collections in u.s.
i had been in touch with exc resolution dept he told me i HAD to go on a trail plan to qualif for any mod....
so i called collections 1st girl said i didnt qualify and wanted to put me on
repayment plan of 750.00 more a month to catch up!
i hung up called back 2nd girl had to fight with, to then finally
she said oh you do quailify.. she told me what my payments would be
and i would get my fed ex pack in a few days
well i didnt think i woulnt get it
and 2 days later it was at my door....

making my 2nd hamp trial payment tomorrow
iam expecting to get turned down in the end of course
was only 1 month behind then ...now its a great big mess
wish i had not even done it
think i would rather starve and struggle than go through this!

This is too much..... I have talked to the Chase foreign collection agents but they told me they were in Panama! This really irks me. These banks get all of this taxpayer TARP $$$$ and hire the personnel for what, $2 bucks an hour in another country. Oh and are they required to furnish health benefits too..... Good for you "budget in oc for" taking the time and effort to expose this. What a joke. I commend your patience with these morons during your phone calls. At least this gal didn't sound as ignorant as most of them. I have heard several times during my phone calls "we want to help you stay in your home Mrs. S.....t". and I think to myself, "good grief, I've got morons on my team"!

We have been in the HAMP trial period since June, just made our 5th trial payment, and the whole process is a joke.

And the government wants to oversee my healthcare?! Yikes! I can just picture it " My son needs his tonsils out, he's really ill...... 25 phone calls to 10 different departments later, yes your approval is coming Mrs. S.....t. Be patient we are learning the new system... Blah, blah, blah....... And believe me it is not that I don't think that all American citizens do deserve good affordable healthcare. I just don't think that the buffoons that are running "the show" are capable of pulling it off. And that goes for both parties. Sorry, I'm going off on a tangent

It can't be stressed enough, vote all of them out in 2010 and the other 1/3 out and term limits!

I called 1-866-926-8937 and spoke with a lady who was in Florida. I spend all day faxing CRAP for my first and second loans with Chase. I will call to confirm that they got them tomorrow. I will record their confirmation of my faxes and then after that the BLOOD IS ON THERE HANDS NOW!!

And if anyone wants from Chase wants to claim "We never got them" then I will bust out the VIDEO,,, and if they dont like the video then maybe ABC, NBC, FOX and CNN might find it interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually the HAMP program is well designed and if the govenment ran it would be far more likely to work. Its the servicers that are screwing it up and Congress did not provide for any enforcement of the Treasury/Fannie Guidelines which are actually quite good if they were followed.

In health care may doctors tell of being turned down by private insurance for what they consider needed care and every one I've read their comments about this say they have never been turned down for a Medicare procedure.

Often government works far better than profit making high salaried need to get maximum profits private industry - especially true in Health Care all all the huge salaries, payments to lobbyists and huge profits.

Top government wages are very very low compared to industry by comparison

An all this Trail MOD stuff is a big SCAM, they get you to be Late so you mess up your sredit, now they lower your payments just a little, then you think your Happy, but several months down the road you need Housing repairs or other financial help and realize you7r credit is Trash, cannot help yourself, and now the home seems less valuable because you are trapped, miss 2 new payments and then WHAM Mr. banker forcloses without notice becqause you been in forclosure since they made you do the trail payment... Unless they give you written notice all foreclosure actions have been removed then your on thin ice the whole Mod program..??

The foreclosure notice itself isn't the problem, its the auction sale date that is 30-90 days later depending on State that is the concern. And it seems almost impossible to get the date extended until the very last minute.

Are you aware that when Oboma released all the Bailout Money to the Bankers to Help Save home mortgages from foreclosure that at least 3/4 of all Congress and Senate, and other GOV Rep and DEM's had ther mortgage's reset to 2% interest loans They got them we fight for one get run run around and yet the peeps you voted in get the deals and they never needed one

If I can find an article with names I will get back to you, I have heard this on FOX many many times there was even a FOX reporter following a State Senator and asking him about how he got a lowered interest, and why would he except a deal knowing this bailout was for suffering home owners...

I think this is in reference to the Senate Ethics Committee that looked at the loans given a couple senators for get the details with reseaching it, a few years ago, long before Obama was elected. The Ethics Committee dismissed the complaint since the VIP loans as they were called were within common industry practice at a reasonable rate at the time (per bankrate.com) and some other reasons was no big deal.

I think I have a post somewhere here when I had all the details from the WSJ in response to one of Boe's posts about bankers.
