My Second just got approved for a "3 month trial" period..

This loan is a HELOC for about $30,000 and was stunned when I got approved.... anybody else had any resukts with their second????

I did... with those 2 phone numbers I gave you yesterday of Doug Ullinger and Michelle in Chase loss Mit for 2nds and heloc did either of them help you??? Just made my 3rd payment on both 1st and 2nd and still waiting to hear something..

We are trying hard to get a mod or reduced payment on our second from Indy/One West. Nothing yet. This gives us hope, as we were told by HUD counselor that no one is giving mods on second.

On my 2nd mortgage with Chase I applied right after I got approved for the MHA trial modification on the 1st they gave me whats called a Stepp to modification plan on the 2nd the condition to it is the first has to be modified first or they will not follow thru and modify the 2nd....my 2nd is in closing and thats where it sits until the 1st is done whenever that is I have heard nothing on the first but will be calling again tomorrow..

I actually talked to James at 1-866-378-5896 ext. 77737. He was very helpful but we butted heads for almost 10 minutes, but he finally opened up after a couple of jokes. These guys are burnt out working 12 hours days. So I believe they can help you if they "feel" like it. I know that sounds bad but it is the TRUTH.

Litehouse,,,,,, James told me that they dont send a "package" in the mail on 2nd's(HELOC) He said i have to pay either via phone or go to a branch> Can you confirm this,, also how do you pay your first and second mortgages????

That is very true...they only did the actual paperwork for this 2nd via FAX they said they DO NOT send out packages period.....I was also given only 2 options of trial payments on the 2nd mortgage that was over the phone via their FASTPAY in which the fastpay fee of $20.00 would be waived or Western Union that was the 2 payment options so I have been doing the FASTPAY via phone and it has worked out well. Hope this helps

I forgot to mention that my first has to be paid via certified check as I am over 90 days past due and thats the only thing they will accept on the 1st mortgage just finished my 3rd trial payment and told to fax utility bill and the 2nd page of the 2008 tax return because it was not signed he said alot of people haven't signed them because they file electronically at tax time..
