OK, I had a thought. I know allot of us can't afford the $60 - $100 to purchase a digital recorder to tape our conversations for "personal use" but.
If you are running Windows under "start -> programs -> accessories -> Entertainment" there is a built in program called "Sound Recorder", this being said you can go out and purchase a $9.95 microphone and then when you call chase just keep them on speaker phone and use this program to record the call (now digital and perfect for YouTube).
I KNOW that it is NOT legal in many states to record BUT as you have seen in other posts this is a tool that we can use against them.
I for one feel like I’m being chased around and around and ........ you get the point.
Just a though and I, would have no problem putting together a manual on how to make it work for others who are interested and not super computer savvy.
I did send President Obama a copy of the letter which was much more detailed, youtube you can only submit a 10-minute video. There is an email on the whitehouse.gov site and I think I will post there. Mr. President has been out of town since I posted so I doubt he has seen my letter yet. Did send it certified mail.

I am so glad to see people doing this. I am a videographer, and of course this year has not been full of work. I have been considering doing a documentary on this whole process, and yes using speaker phone when talking with Chase to record their idiotic responses. Does anyone know the legality of this - since they inform you at the beginning of every conversation that it is being recorded, does that legally entitle you to record as well? I have had no luck with getting any of the correspondence in writing - my counselor in Imminent Default and his supervisor say they have no authority to send me anything in writing. Not that they have done anything with my file except shuffle it around. Maybe we could create a channel to upload to on one of the free sites - so people know where to direct their videos of complaint. I'd love to help set this up if anyone is game. YouTube has time limitations(10 min), I have also used Veoh.com and googlevideo.com.
Chase keeping all their correspondence to phone conversations and then refusing to send written proof of what if going on with your file seems to be intentional. I keep notes of every conversation - but recorded would be sooooo much better. ANy thoughts?
