Re: Yet Another Probable Walk-Away in AZ..

Okay, my fellow Arizona residents. I know that we have seen the bulk of foreclosures at the beginning of this crisis (at least every other house in my neighborhood was vacant a year ago). . . but we only have 9 (that is NINE) AZ signatures on our petition. (see the link in my signature below)

We are now on the Mortgage Insider, and multiple media notifications have been sent out. Please forward the link to your friends and family. The economy has impacted everyone, the mortgage crisis was just the beginning and if we don't make a move for serious level-setting change soon, we're going to all be even more messed over by the economy. . .

Thank you for your help in creating a voice for us all.

Melissa

Re: Yet Another Probable Walk-Away in AZ..

Just took a call from Loss Mitigation on the primary (1st). Since DH's name is the only name on the account they can't tell me jack sh*t so I didn't even bother to ask. The Chase rep sounded surprised and a little lost when I told her that we were working through NACA to get something accomplished. She was going to give me some 800 number until I asked her whether or not anyone would actually call us back, as we have had probably a 98% failure rate on their ability to return calls in response to messages left. She then proceeded to give me the number to her department....we'll see how effective that is.

.....too big to fail..... WTF!?! How about too big NOT to fail when Chase can't find it's own a$$ with both hands and a compass.

Re: Yet Another Probable Walk-Away in AZ..

Update 11 November:

Out of the blue yesterday evening we received a call from Chase's Homeowner Assistance department. DH was told that the mod is in underwriting and it is basically at the point where it will be either approved or denied shortly. He needs to fax in a couple more things (big surprise) before they can make a final decision. I'm guessing that the "mod" is the NACA workout and not some random plan Chase has come up with on its own, however the rep could not tell DH for sure. Our investor apparently is Freddie Mac if I have not mentioned that before....so we'll see what happens. After all of the BS we've been through with Chase, we'll believe it if and when we see it in writing.

Re: Yet Another Probable Walk-Away in AZ..

About six months behind right now. We figure that if they deny us, then we will resubmit with NACA and go from there...I think that we would have seen an NOS by now if not for them getting the ball rolling. Not that we didn't desperately try with Chase ourselves. Hopefully we'll be able to get something worked out but if not, living rent free for as long as possible won't be a bad thing either.
