I was laid off my one full-time job back in August and then could not find another full-time job and had to make due with a part-time and then was laid off of that job in Feb. I am a single mother of two and my income was cut in half, if not more and child support is behind. Anyway, I feel behind Chase wouldn't help, so I went a got a lawyer and that got even worse. They were going to start foreclosure and I hurried up and went into a forbearance agreement with them to not lose my house. Now, they are trying to do a loan mod and it is not looking pretty. For some reason Chase does not precipitate in Obama's new loan mod programs. What can I do? I cannot afford the payment that they want to put me at, but they will not budge. They want to lower my payment $100, wow that was a huge help! Please any help would be appreciated. |
