So Now What?

I just got turned down for my loan modification. No surprise with Chase. They resent me all the paperwork I already filled out and told me to refile again or they'd close my case. I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Do I file again? Do I miss a few payments to get their attention? I'm really at a loss what to do. It seems with Chase you just can't win.

Re: So Now What?

Sherry

Sorry to hear about the denial. They did the same thing to me after making all trial payments.

Don't give up. Call your state senator and file a complaint; as a matter of fact file complaints anywhere you can.

I think we will be hearing about many denials in the weeks to come. It is my impression that Chase has absolutely no intention of approving any permanent mods under the HAMP program.

Believe me when I tell you that I am fighting them tooth and nail !!!

I don't get this....at all. They keep denying everyone, but then immediately tell them to resubmit, only to deny again.....and then over and over. Why do they keep doing that?? If it's a no this time, won't it most likely be a no next time too?

They are smarter than we all think. They know we are all emotional, well most of you are about keeping your home. So they will do whatever they can, lie, cheat then steal. Its all about bucks to them, and nothing else matters. They will do what they can to bleed you as long as they can...

Re: So Now What?

Oh I agree it's about the bucks with them. I had excellent credit when I applied. I told them my alimony was ending Sept. 30th and that I could no longer afford my home. My denial was because my situation wasn't of a permanent nature. I called them and asked how your alimony ending wasn't permanent and they told me to reapply when it was done. I got denied Sept. 1, why should I have to reapply Sept. 30? Because I was never late on my payments and they can't collect any late fees or finance charges. Well as of Oct. 1, I'll be late. I hope they'll be happy.

I couldn't agree more. All stall tactics.
I'd like to see their training manual.
