Payment went to suspense? - Loan Modification Forum

We owed June,July Aug on our Chase loan. Mid-Sept we sent in June, end of Sept we sent in July. I just got the bill they sent out after the first payment (June) & it says they put the money in the suspense column not the credit column.Will they credit it now that we also paid July? What do I do the bill is now looking like we owe June,July,Aug,Sept & now Oct when I thought we were at Aug,Sept & Oct

Well, I'd call them, that's for sure. Executive Team 1-800-242 7399 and you'll get someone from the team - probably not today though! Just keep calling. DON'T leave a message. Good luck.

What I was told was once your mortgage goes 90 days and beyond the money is held in the suspence portion of your account until the ENTIRE delinquinecy is cured...so at that point unless you send the entire amount owned to cure the default it goes into the suspense portion and held there and they can start foreclosure proceeding against you I know I went thru this very thing last august 2008 and got paid up in the nick of time
