Ugh!! They CLOSED our analyst/call center office till Oct. 15????????

Seriously.

We called yesterday and they said call back in three weeks. Obviously we can't go three weeks without calling since we are SIX months behind.
We call today and are informed that the OHIO call center (which is the only one that can supposedly work on our type of loan) is CLOSED until October 15th to work on backed up items.

Not sure if this is good or bad. Good that they are going to work on things I guess. But BAD because we aren't going to be able to call and remind them to do the work. Our account has been sent to the investor THREE times now (supposedly), and 2 out of the 3 times we eventually found out that it was never sent. This is only because we've made our daily calls.

Plus the Ohio call center has always told us they can't make outgoing calls to the investor or to customers. Maybe they've trained them now to do that so they can get things wrapped up?

Or maybe they've laid off a hundred people and are giving themselves a month to figure out what to do next? Who knows. I'm surprised Chase is still above water.

Rachel, What phone # is it you called and got that ? Have you tried the hamp phone# on chases website? I'm sure someone can tell u whats going on.

That's what I think - you should be able to call other Chase numbers to get updates. Anyone ANYWHERE inside Chase should be able to call up your account/data on their computers. Their computers should all be tied to some Master Server, somewhere.

It's automatically redirecting us to the Florida offices. We have a number to the Arizona office and I think the San Diego office. But every time we call them, they say they aren't trained on our type of loan and they redirect us to the ohio office. They seem to be the only ones knowledgeable (somewhat) about what's going on with our account.
You are right, the Florida office CAN look up our account and tell us "no change". But if we ask them to do anything further they say they aren't trained to work on our type of loan. (It's just a normal loan, so we've always wondered why it's so "special".)

Just frustrating all around that our one "life line", if you will, has now been cut.

I'm not sure which number it is. My husband has all of them stored on his phone and he isn't here.

I am wondering if the slow down is of course backlog but I do know that the next couple weeks is the final conversion for WAMU into Chase. That also may be a factor.

The ohio office is closed till October 1st for "restructuring" . The rep from Chase told me they are changing the office plus working on the backlog to get the right hands next to the left hands to get the process working better. In the meantime they said to just sit tight and "wait". They are trying to get everyone better trained ,processes refined and people near each other that need to work to get things done properly and more timely . Thats what I was told anyway!

Yes because I asked which office and they said the Ohio office on vision drive closed till October 1st. Restructuring the office he called it, reconstruction was another word, and to catch up on some of the files. They are still receiveing faxes at Fax# 1 866 282 5682.

hmmm... I made my last "forbearance" payment end of last month and I have no idea what I do now... And if the office is closed until the 1st I wonder what I am to pay since I have received no more documents telling me anything....

Still call them,not all loans are handled out of the Ohio office, You can still speak with someone who can tell you that and/or if you have paperwork that went out.

It is out of the Ohio office. I have been working on this since Feb of this year and my forbearance is done as of last payment.

franklyspeaking....that is the same office they are telling us is unavailable until October 15th. We were told that date twice today. Hmmmm.....
Completely usual that half the employees give out one date and the other half another date.
Hopefully it will be running by the 1st!!

I was told back in April that Chase doesnt have an office in ohio, that this is a outside company hired by Chase to help with the Mods.

Yes, they are still receiving faxes at Fax# 1 866 282 5682. I was instructed to submit a loan mod pkg for my second mortgage to this number. I faxed multiple pages and expressed mailed to make sure docs were received. This was done last month, because I was told that my second was being "reviewed" to be written off, (I'm still waiting for word on the first mortgage modification, since March) and only to be told last week that Chase is not modifying seconds and that I was told wrong! I told the rep who I spoke to and the date and time I was told to send mod package and she informed me that I was told wrong..... So, I repeated the telephone number of the person that I previously spoke with and asked her if it was at all possible to tell which department that telephone number was for, or, if she recognized the number -- she said she did not recognize the telephone number. I asked her how that could be since she was calling me from that very number.......
