Told to "Ignore" Trial plan extension

I called customer service this am and basically asked how exactly I could send these docs that they would receive them....the customer service rep could tell I was obviously distraught... one example I asked if I should drive the docs to Glendale, CO to deliver in person...she emailed my new nego he actually called me back he went through on the phone each doc that he had and said this was a general letter sent out to all on the trial plan to encourage hem to send missing docs....hmmmm who knows do I ignore it as he directed on send it all again.... what a waste of time, effort, money, FED Ex envelopes etc......

Sorry to hear this Shuladore they seem to do this quite often. Did they happen to give you your negotiators information?

I recieved a fedex yesterday from Chase, stating they are missing documents and need me to fedex them back asap. I called the number on the documents and the lady told me they sent a fedex to everyone in a loan mod. (what a waste of money) and she checked my file and said they have everything they need from me.

I feel left out.
The Chase rep whom is ahdling my 2nd called me today and asked what the status of my first was after completing HAMP trial. I said your guess is as good as mine. I have not made my fourth payment because my contract does not state that it is required.
We had a long conversation about whether to make the 4th payment. He urged me in no uncertain terms to make it otherwise I would end up being rejected for a perm. mod.

I called Chase on Monday asking about my Mod. Transfered me all over the place again. Loss mit picked up and said every thing was fine and that I would ahve to make 5th and 6th payments to get a mod. I get home from work and guess what I got......FedEx package saying they did not have my information.

So as I was gathering up all the info they said they didnt have I got a phone call from Chase. She said the only thing they were missing was a singed copy of my 2008 tax return. So I told her i would fax it and 2 current pay stubs to the number she gave me and the number that was in the FedEx package. Faxed that all off yesterday. Today at 8:30pm another unknow caller on my phone. It was Chase again. Asking if I got the fedex package. I said yes and I faxed in the tax return and pay stubs like they woman on the phone told me to do the day before. This lady told me I have to resubmit EVERY THING again. And that Mods are starting after the 6th payment and not the 3rd.
If they want 6 payments then they need to put that in the agreement and not 3.

She said she was going to go find my file and look it over to see if they have every thing they need to start seeing if I qualify for a Mod and call me back.

I am glad MN passed the law that these bankers can NOT foreclose on people for 5 months now instead of 3. Even if I walked away I can live in my house for 6 months after the auction date.

This rep who told you 6mths, is she referring to HAMP trials or in-house trials?

pb, I think I will probably make the 4th payment. I do so reluctantly.

i thought the show was over for me since i got a denial letter for my perm mod last thursday. i've already made 5 trial pymnts and was denied due to "insufficient income". today, my negotiator informed me that they have re-opened my file because they did not include rent that i receive from my brother as my income. my brother has moved in with us for the past 2 years and have been helping us with the mortgage payment. she said she will call me in a couple of days.

meanwhile, this evening the 2nd mortgage HELOC who gave me the NOD in August told me that they wanted to put me on a 3 month trial. after the 3 months i will get my perm mod. they will send me a package and put everything in writing. that just blew my mind because i've been on the trial for 5 months already. what the h*ll is he talking about!

he explained to me that the 1st and 2nd are completely different even though both loans are owned by chase. he said that the 1st can not mod the 2nd. they have completely diff systems. the funny thing was that a few months ago the girl in his dept referred me back to the 1st saying that the negotiator was working both loans.

i guess this is more bs from chase trying to squeeze more money from me. unbelievable!!! i'm too tired of this bs...i'm done with them.

Hi Famlena, sorry to butt in...

Chase accepted the rental income from your brother. I this as a rental income stated in your taxes? Did you have to provide a lease or rental contract?

I read Moe saying they will not consider non verifiable income, but when I file for a trial they accepted it. I tought they would only accept it for a trial not a perm... interesting.

Can you tell me please?

She was talking about the Making Home Affordable Plan. I just noticed in the package they sent me by FedEx that is says that by not providing the needed documents by the end of the extension period I will no longer be eligible for the making Home affordable modification.

I have not been notifyed that my trail was being extended. Or by how long. That must be why they all told me to make 6 payments. Which sucks because I don't remember where to send the payment.


So again Chase is falling behind and some how that is MY fault

Hey Flying Puppy, I would like to know where your FEDEX package was sent from--address, etc., if you still have the paperwork/package. Also, when were you told it was sent, when was it actually sent? Thanks!

It came from 4500 Cherry Creek Dr S Ste 960 Glendale, CO 80246.
It was overnighted on 9/21. I got in 9/22

I never knew it was coming. I had just talked to Chase earlier in the day and they said they had every thing they needed.

Hi art4ari,

my negotiator did not request for a rental agreement or anything like that. i only provided her with my brother's 2 most recent paystubs. his paystubs has our address on it. he is not on the loan and we did not file the rental in our taxes because we didn't see it as rental but that he was only helping us with our mortgage.

i really don't have any documentation or paper trail to provide to them. i told her that my brother gives us cash & we don't keep our money in the bank because we honestly do not feel comfortable with the banking industry right now.

she had submitted this info to the vice president for review. so, we'll see what they say. both my loans are owned by chase and they put me on their in-house mod plan.
