OK got the trial plan extension letter yesterday I have talked to Chase 2x per week since 8/26 when I was told they had everything they needed. I had in fact just talked to them yesterday before Igot the mail- everything was fine even have the BPO done ( which they wont release to me) I think this is a total scam - I explained my situation this am to the Chase rep she seemed confused as well as her screen shows they have everthing also. I need advice HOW CAN I SEND THESE DOCUMENTS THEY SAY I HAVEN'T SENT FOR THE Millionth time and prove not just that I sent them but what I sent? DO I hire a notary and swear and affirm each document being sent, sela the FED EX in front of the notary and have them mail? I am so PO at the govt for making the burden of proof the borrowers and not the lenders issue ! I would love to hear feedback as to how I can send these docs and prove I sent them. I suspect the mail stop in Glendale, CO has a shred machine on the other end should I try to take the docs to a Home preservation office and get a human to take them? |

Or use the post office signature confirmation. Then when you are taking to chase, you can say "Jane Smith [or whoever signs the delivery confirmation] signed for receipt of those documents. I suggest you track her down and get the documents from her." |

Hi : Thanks for your feedback the first three packages went this way...what the govt has done is give them an "out" all Chase has to do is say they didn't receive page 4 of my tax return and that is it-How can I prove not just that I sent a package but what documents where in the package? I am thinking about going through the expense of having each document certified copy by a notary, than swearing and affirming that this is what is mailed to them... I realize they can still say no that I am still a small fish who probably wont win against the giant I just dont want to go down without the best fight I can |

I have stopped paying the trial mod payments and am not sending Chase any more documents. I made my 3 trial mod payments and Chase said to not make a 4th because the final mod was on its way. Now they say another 60 to 90 days. At this point I hate to say it but I think it is not very likely that any of us will get a permanent loan mod. It seems clear to me that Chase is just trying to collect as much money as they can from all of us before they start denying our final mods. You can start to see it happening with the various posts on this forum. People have made 3, 4 or 5 trial mod payments and then are being denied. |

I have sent docs in over and over again. They either misplace or just flat out have no idea of where the docs are so they ask again. I have fax confirmations for everything I sent in but they still asked numerous times for the same docs. I have been told many times by our negotiator that they have everything they need only to get a call a week later asking for some documents that I already sent in 4 or 5 times. At this point I am not going to send in any more documents to them as I think it is just a tactic that they use to delay the process. |
