Anyone use FASTPAY via phone for there trial payments??

Does anyone out there use Chase's FASTPAY over the phone for their Trial payments instead of Express Mail and the like? They are suppose to waive the $20.00 FASTPAY Fee i think? If you do has it been successful for you?

yes, the first payment had to be a cashiers check, on the last one the rep offered voluntarily the option to use fast pay and I scheduled the payment. They collected it and sent me a statement notification in the regular mail as proof. They waived the fee. Easy. If you can get it I recommended because it appears on your bank statement as proof as well and dont have to worry about them claiming not getting the cashiers check on time kepp us posted...thanks

I am going to call them tomorrow morning and ask if I can because this is getting old express mailing for 17.95 just to have the proof they got it...I did the 1st 2 payments cashiers Checks luckily my credit union doesn't charge for them but it sure would be alot easier for me you say they waived the fast pay fee???? And did the funds come out the same day or was it a day or 2 before it showed on your bank statement? How does it work?

yes, it appears on the next business day on your bank account (online). I recevied the confirmation two days later in the regular mail (automated mailing).

One day, I just call to find out about my case and i was offered the fast pay. Call them to schedule your final payment and request to pay over the phone and if there is a charge... they should waive it too. Good luck.. let us know how your case is going.

ART4ARI......I called loss mit this morning and asked they told me no I could not us fastpay because my loan is over 3 months behind and it has to be certified funds the guy was very nasty to me...so thats that

I am 10 months behind, this is very strange, Right before I started the trial, collections offered me to pay over the phone with my checking account,but I refused because I didnt know I was going to be aproved for it or not.

I will call this week to se if they would take my payment or not with fast pay again. Ill let you know.. How your case is moving on?

well, I called to schedule the payment, instead they transfered me to another center with my monitor. He will send another fedex today with an explanatory steps to follow from now on.

No payment required yet. Asked me for my 2008 taxes, I told him about not having them and said 2006-2007 would do, he needs them again, signed.

He said they are processing 45000 cases a month and they are overwhelmed.

So far, its going ok for me, got extension #s, not sure whats next but I will follow...I just hope I they dont loose track of me.

They now have a digital tracking of files, so everyone there should see our files anywhere...

art4ari....glad to hear you might be making some progess....this is strange about the fastpay the guy was so nasty to me in lost mitigation....it was as if he could care less what i was saying instead he was focused on how far behind i was (5months) and how much that came to and how much the late fees were..i kept saying to him i am on the mha plan don't you understand??/ I am getting to make my 3rd trial pyt...he said the rule is if over 90 days behind certified funds only..he then got really nasty with me as we argued and then i slammed the phone in his ear...the bastard....there is no compassion or understanding what so ever I was so mad when i got off the phone i obtained all the addresses for my congressmen and senators and will be writing to them tonight they need to know what is on the other end of this mha plan....the BS we are going thru.....the stress level for me is thru the roof and its really taking a toll on me and my husband so I am going to direct my anger to my congressmen and senators and the controller of the currency...i want my voice heard!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry and I understand your frustration.. yes I have sent emails also to complaint about the bad customer service not only from chase but other banks too...

On the other hand, dont get discouraged... send your payment as you previously did and wait.

I was also told by the the rep I spoke by my first payment that my monitor was assigned on the first month of the trial, is the same person so far. The date he was supposed to contact me was today (coincidence). So, if we trace my case, yours supposed to call you 22 days after your last payment due (oct first for you?) .

I would try another day to ask for your monitor's extension number and name. A lot of the mods are processed in south carolina where mine is at 843 673-3802 (you will need an extension for this number). Some in Florida.

As a suggention and by experience, I recommend to ask this simple question about your monitor's name and extension/phone, and as soon as you get a negative attitude just thank them, hang up and try another rep. No all seem to be as rude. May they do flag our accounts if there is a prior friccion? who knows?

Thanks for the advise...yes my thrid payment is Oct 1.. When I asked about a monitor they said whats thats? I thought to myslf you have got to be kidding...Whats your opinion do you think they will contact me after Oct 1? I just completed my letters to my senators and congressmen and told them about chase and other banks not following the govt rules concerning MHA/HAMP I also Worte to Senator Chris Dodd who is the head of the senate banking committee he is not from my state but what the hell he is going to hear from me also...I am at my wits end and scared to death..we are going without health insurance because we can't afford it unless this gets modified...my husband is a diabetic who cannot afford to go to the doctors because we can't afford it and that scares me we desperatly need this modification we are 5 months behind at this point winter will be setting in before we know it ...thanks for listening to me I am sorry to be so upset tonight. And you will be in my prayers tonight that your situation gets a positive resolve very soon ART4ARi...I wish you the best and keep me posted on your situation..

Please dont give up. How about some reverse pshychology? what if you call them two weeks after your payment and tell them you are returning a call from the number I gave you ("you saw it in your caller id"), but the message is not clear and that it is important you speak with that person who said is monitoring your file... I am sure they will try to contact you... but you dont want to fall thru the cracks...keep trying. A white lie, but may work.

i am going tru the same thing here, i had a bad car accident and lost my teeth... 16k in dental bills plus hospital bills already in my credit and collections. Very difficult... I understand you well...

I was also thinking of emailing someone on the executive team and asking who is handling our file and advise them I have been unable to find out and wish to have their contact information for questions and answers..what do you think? I am so sorry to hear of your car accident..I hope you are doing much better now.....we have to all get thru this somehow and having folks like yourself to talk to sure helps its a god send it really is...thank you for listening
