We called this morning to check on the status of our modification (supposedly has been w/the investor...waiting for an answer). The lady said "no change". They didn't know anything yet. My husband said she didn't sound very knowledgeable. She asked why we were behind on payments (DH about flipped...it's been a year now since we started this mess and she acted like it was our first call). Ended the call with her. Ten minutes later called back and talked to someone else. They said we have been approved and that a negotiator should contact us within 10 days to discuss if it's a permanent modification or a trial (of course it will be a trial....). This doesn't really mean anything though, right? Even after you all have been assigned to a negotiator it's still a bunch of waiting and stringing along....right? I kind of feel like my hopes are up because we made it to a negotiator, but I know better than to get too excited. We've been in this too long and I know everytime I get some hope, they crush it shortly after. |

We are looking forward to (hopefully) being able to correspond back and forth with ONE person, rather than playing the call center games. |

Today when we called we were told that it has NOT come back from the investor yet and nothing has changed since weeks ago. We don't have an analyst or a negotiator assigned to us and we should call back in THREE weeks. Whatever. I feel like I want to scream. |

We will definitely still be calling every day, since that's about how long it takes for them to change their story I'm trying to get an email from the ERT stating that, indeed, we should continue NOT making payments. They keep telling us our first payment will be {first it was Sept. 1, then Oct. 1 and now} Nov. 1st and to not send anything until then. Meanwhile, that will put us 8 months behind. Our lawyer wants us to work on getting an email stating that they don't want us to make payments. Back to square 1 for us! |

So I said that is cool, not holding my breath or anything. But real strange is that I have not had a single call from any chase fool in almost 2 weeks, either loan. They only have my work# and they would call pretty much every other day one call for each loan, now nothing. I kinda miss the calls even though I was ignoring them when they called, but I miss them. Still no NOD and have not paid my first since Feb and made three second payments June, July and Aug... |

I heard that Chase sent out 67,000 default letters to people who were not in default and not even asking for mods. Perhaps they are dealing with that. I did get a bunch of calls last week. I'm getting pretty sick of this. When I call tomorrow there will be a whole new story. I do now have a case opened with my Congressman, my Senator, and the Comptroller of the Currency. I asked the last folks today what that means. They said they forward the complaint to the bank. I freaked a little. Last time I connected with the mucky mucks at Chase (sent an e-mail to Jamie Dimon) they said that I couldn't work with the executive team any more because I was working with NACA. I asked the Comptroller folks about the possibility of retaliation, and she said there better not be. Oh my sometimes I can get myself into the thick of things..... |

My loan mod has been assigned to an under writter for over 60days now...i call every couple of days and its always a different answer. They all say its under review but no one has a clue as to what is actually going on. So today I call again and they say well Freddie mac is reviewing it...is this true? Does freddie mac review as well as chase?! does anyone have a clue as to what they are doing over there...its been over 7 months and still nothing. I have done everything I can...and still no answers |
