How do they view checking account 1st-1st or as the checking statement falls?

Anyone know? Do they look at the month end of each checking account, how the statement is set up? 24th-23rd, etc.????? OR 1st thru the 1st day of the month?

I believe they just look at how much you have in your account and how much you deposit and withdraw each month..
