Since October of 2008 we've been actively in the process of applying for a modification through EMC. We have been current with our payments (up until this month). Anyway, we had the usual story...refax missing documents, need new documents, etc. I was fed up so I went through the Exec Office. She escalated our file a month ago and we were denied due to "insufficient income" last week. Anyway, the Exec Office resubmitted our file last week. I called to follow up and she said that EMC has approved the Mod but now they forwarded it to Fannie Mae for their approval. Is this good news and a normal process? |
