So I call to get status again today...Because my last call to them on Aug 7th they told me that they have everything that they need and to just sit tight it is with the negotiator. Ok so fine. Its killing me trying not to bug the cr*p out of them or NACA to find out whats going on...

So I call Chase/Wamu today and there is a note in the system dated Aug 5th (wtf????) that they needed a copy of my divorce decree and did I send it?? Really?? Are you freaking kidding me....my hardship is due to DIVORCE...praps that should have been included in the original paperwork you asked me for..um...hellloooooo??? And at the VERY least when I called on aug 7th....you could have told me about the aug 5th note. So they have been just holding on to my file, no one bothered to call me, send me a nasty gram or nothing! They probably would have "closed my file" due to insufficient information if I hadn't called today. I told them they need to notate the file that I will be sending that tomorrow morning.

This is so ridiculous! These people are driving me to drink!

Are you working with NACA as well? I've posted a couple of places here on some new info I just got. I started working with NACA in april (although I've only talked with a real person twice). They sent a proposal to Chase, and Chase acknowledged getting it in June. I have been working with the Exec Team at Chase as well for months. today I was told by the Exec Team member that "since we have a contract with NACA, I can't talk with you about this case any more." I asked when this happened - she said her manager just told her that the other day. Something has changed. Something has changed.

Yes, I just posted on your other reply. Caldwell, these people are driving me batty. In a way that kind of worries me b/c it seems to be just another way to stall out. I am going to go to the naca save the dream when it comes to LA next month and see if that will help me push this forward. My savings is now $38.00, I am still current, but my restaurant job (second job) has been pretty slow right about now & we are all scrambling for shifts. This worries me b/c I am in the eminent default area and im afraid if I start missing payments it will go to a whole other dept and I will basically have to start over.
