So is this the real deal? Got a Fed-Ex package with the following docs:

Home Affordable Modification Trial Period Plan (Step One of Two-Step Documentation Process)--2 copies
Home Affordable Modification Program Hardship Affidavit
Information for Government Monitoring Purposes
4506T
Making Home Affordable "Notice to Borrowers" w/ Sigtarp Hotline info on the bottom
4 payment coupons
Another Fed-Ex envelope that's addressed to Chase Fulfillment Services
Lette from Chase that says "You may be able to make your payments more affordable" w/ step 1&2 and list of 5 items...

So am I good to go? Is this the HAMP? Thought I'd ask the experts. I trust you guys a lot more than I trust Chase.

I am not expert, but it does sound a lot like the documents I received for the trial.

Yes! that is what I received also for the HAMP Mod!

Although mine is a tad different, as I am with the beauty "Saxon".
