Two FED-X packages, both have the same loan documents. Two copies will need to be returned to the lender. The terms set forth are:

1-5 years 2.00% Interest
6th year 3.00%
7th year 4.00%
8-31 years 5.00%

1st payment due 12-1-09
Final payment 1-1-40

Excellent terms, and one I'm still considering. More than likely, I'll sign them and ship them back, but for the next few days, I'll meet with my attorney to discuss and find "hidden" legalese in the contract, and see how this whole situation will fit into my finances.

But.....wouldn't that be a nice final finger to Chase......go all this way and then STILL let them have the house. LOL...we shall see. Chase Chase Chase...you should have did this deal in December of 2008 when my credit score was 800 and I never missed any payments at all. I was begging you to work with me, now I hold the keys.....literally.

Pardon my expression, but WTF? You have dealt with this hassle, received the best modification I believe possible, and you are going to "consider" it and "see how it fits into you finances?"

Sorry man, but if you end up not taking it as we all sit here drooling, it would be pretty irritating that you sucked up their limited resources and didn't even take the perfect mod.

Anyone else would take it.

Thank you. And lest I let this moment be forgotten...thank you to Evan first, and to EVERYONE else who has come here to try and find resolution. All your posts have been helpful in helping me to heal in regards to the situation that exists. You have also helped me clarify what my position is, and have affected my decisions.

I hope that my posts have been helpful and not harmful. At times I have gotten very bitter and cynical and life is simply too short to be that way. The system is corrupt, and I'm just a lone voice in the wilderness. I can only do my part to limit my feeding of the monster.

I'm 90% sure I'll sign the documents (as the 1-5th years are , but THIS time I'm not rushing into anything, and I want to take a long hard look at my options and what will be best for my financial solvency

I agree 100% that you should have the attorney look at the paperwork before committing yourself to another agreement with Chase....I sincerely hope there are no surprises.

Congrats swiller and exhausted girlfriend! I hope to join the success ranks soon (sometime in early 2010)! I'm waiting on paperwork to start the trial which likely won't be starting until Jan 1. I hope it only goes 3 months and by that time the banks will have figured out how to handle this sh!t without drawing out the trial!

Question/Help from those of you who have started or finished the trial payment plan. I called chase and they "approved" me for a 3 month trial/forebearance plan . Its been over a month and a half and I've gotten no paperwork. I called a few times the first few weeks but then sat back to see what would happen. They stopped the auction but now nothing, no trial payment paperwork,no calls,no letters. Any idea whats going on? Are the just expecting me to send in payments without paperwork ? Any suggestions would be appreciated.FHA loan /six months behind.
