Has anyone received a MOD from EMC???

We have been waiting since Oct. 08 and we still get the same answers when we call which is.."Try back in two weeks"...We can make only one more months payment...credit cards are almost maxed. Going broke fast!! If anyone has received a loan MOD from EMC..how long did it take and what kind of MOD did you receive?? Also, were you late or current with payments??

I applied for a mod with EMC back in Nov 08 and was orginally approved early Feb then the new law took effect in early March 09. I faxed over the new package in Apr 09 and have been on hold every since. I understand that they did do a BPO (drive-by) not sure what that is. In late Jun09 the file went to an underwriter and at the same time I took it upon myself to send updated paystubs, statements, the affadivit which I found out about through this forum, and signed tax statements since they were filed electronically. EMC has confirmed they have received all documents sent. I was told I qualify for the MHA program but have not been offered any trial period like others. I have absolutely no faith this will work and from reading numerous threads, no one has been permanently modified. BUT I have seen on my account online that I have a set ARM payment for Sep 09 which has decreased by $23 for these next 6 months but that could fluctuate come tax time.

Also, I am current on my payments and have always been. I have a medical hardship and loss of income from that.
