As I was deconstructing the legal-ease of the agreement, a vague phrase came up: "obligatory or protective advances". It caught my attention because it's VAGUE as hell, so I Google'd it. There was ONLY ONE RESULT on Google for this exact phrase! Oddly, Chase appears to still be doing the same-old, same-old thing, going on since at least February. http://www.afscanhelp.com/uploads/chase-special-forbearance-gina-1235663336675.pdf This is EXACTLY the same forbearance agreement as mine, with different names, numbers and addresses. NOTE: The above link is hosted by a company that offers pay-for modification services. In otherwords, it's probably just another shyster/scam firm, posting on their site: "Hey, look what WE got for our (paying) client!!!". These folks have merely obtained a copy of the same thing you yourself can obtain with no fees. I do NOT recommend using ANY outside firm for this, beyond your OWN attorney, such as a small, private Bankruptcy attorney. BK Attys are usually VERY sharp about these types of issues (Real Estate, Loans, etc.). This site has to do with bankruptcy & real estate laws, creditor collections etc. Read this: http://www.brokencredit.com/category/forbearance/ You also might find the following link an interesting read about how the banks are passing paper around, dodging bullets and some have recently been getting busted with HUGE sanctions: http://www.bkforum.com/showthread.php?t=39675&highlight=forbearance |
