Waiting on emc/chase modification since 2008

We have been waiting for an answer on a loan modification application with EMC/Chase since October 2008. We have submitted every piece of paperwork they have asked for (several times). We also call to check status 2 times a week. We have went through 3 non-profit agencies to obtain their help. We weren't qualified because we weren't late on payments yet. When Obama's plan went into effect we applied ourselves directly to EMC in March. We then submitted the same paperwork a few more times. As luck will have it, in May, my husband's income decreased 27% because of the economy. We provided EMC with the updated income loss. We were told that our mod was assigned a negotiator on June 11th. We called back a week later and they needed more paperwork which we submitted again. We have tried to call our negotiator several times and she never called back. We then contacted Jamie Dimon and received a call back from Dena of the Exec Office and she said she would put a rush on our application and that we should hear something in 2 to 3 weeks. As of today, we have not heard anything. We emailed our Senator and Congressman yesterday with the hopes of their help. We are still waiting to hear back from them.

QUESTION---IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN DO TO GET HELP??? HAS ANYONE SUCCEEDED AT MODIFYING WITH EMC? BY THE WAY, WE ARE NOT LATE ON PAYMENTS BUT WILL BE IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE. PROBABLY WITHIN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS!!!!

Is EMC the investor? If its freddie or fannie write them directly

I believe EMC is the investor. It is definitely Fannnie Mae. We have a first and second mortgage with them. Do I get Fannie's address from their website?

If its Fannie which you can check on their website - the site asks for yoru address and says if they own your loan. Once you verify this then yes mail them.
In another thread an individual put down who he wrote to at Fannie....maybe go that route?
If not then yes just get the address from the site
