We filed ch 7 earlier this year and reaffirmed both our first and second mortgage with Chase. When I tried to mail Junes payment it seemed to take for ever to clear the bank. I called and called and Chase kept saying they hadnt recieved it. It came back to me in the mail saturday with a letter saying they needed cert funds. I had already made a new payment via WU which Chase left in limbo and is still floating out there. I talked to a rep after recieving a letter friday that they had accererated our second mortgage. uhhm..this loan would be current if for some reason they had not sent payments back so I called and they said oh dont worry the WU payment will post and it will be ok. Well I still owe July but was leary of mailing it if after they sent the other one back. Last night I get a letter in the mail stating that they have an auction date set! I take off this morning and call my ch 7 atty and we are both trying to reach resolution. CHase has yet to post my WU payment and told me that I have to pay over $1700 in reinstatemnet fees! SO at this point I am prepared to make that payment but my atty is working with theirs right now in attempt to get those waived. I was behind with Junes on the first of July but had not recieved any correspondance other than monthly statement until last week after I had sent payments! Even teh supervisor I talked to this morning could not believe that our loan was in this status!
