Chase OWNED loans not eligible for MHA???

I was told by a Chase rep yesterday that loans OWNED by Chase have not and will not be eligible for MHA as Chase is not participating in MHA. Only Freddie and Fannie loans that Chase services are eligible. That is why some folks get the 3 month trail forbearance from Chase not the 3 month trial MHA.

Anyone have any info on this?

Hi Joanna Chase is utilizing the program for the loans that they own as well.........

Page 2, Section 2 Authority and Agreement to Participate in the Program

Servicer shall perform the Services for all mortgage loans its services, whether it services such mortgage loans for its own account or for the account of another party, including any holders of mortgage-backed securities (each such other party, an "investor").
