Re: Anyone finalize after the 3rd mod payment w/ Chase?

I just received news that I need to update EVERYTHING. I was told i was suppose to do this with my last payment. Now I am delayed almost a month..great!

For those who got two sets of MHA agreement by fedex when you were aproved. One COMPLETE is to be sent with first payment and the second COMPLETE set with third payment. (exactly as it is asked in the forms: full docs taxes, letters, paystubs, P&I if applicable all of it...)

IMPORTANT: dont forget to sign everything, specially tax returns. Hardship letter with amedment if necesary. You will get another package in the mail if you dont update as I say. This package will contain the contact name and email and everything about your monitor. Just do this and make your 4th payment the last minute. Your monitor will put everythng together for the negotiator, make him happy dont call him too much unless something important.

They say if you make enough money to cover the modified payment and a true hardship things will move on... will see....

Dont forget your paymetn goes to one place and your docs to another (colorado)

Re: Anyone finalize after the 3rd mod payment w/ Chase?

that just doesn't sound rite. i didn't get two sets to start with and it didn't ask for a "back-up" copy. i just wish more people are getting permanent mods at this point. everyday is pins and needles. it does feel like i'm getting fed bs about how we "must" continue to make payments. but it is a real possibility that they are just swamped. any chase mods at all after the 3m??????

Re: Anyone finalize after the 3rd mod payment w/ Chase?

When we got our Trial mod. we were told that they may call and us and ask for updated info/docs to be sent in again..we weren't told to just go ahead and send them. They are supposedly only good for 30 days. Just Expressed our last payment on Monday. Called Tuesday and they said they had all of our documents.

Something came to mind last night. Our mod. was on HAMP paperwork/letterhead however, our loan is owned by Chase (not Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac). Chase can voluntarily do the HAMP, but since they returned the TARP funds..they don't really have to play by the HAMP rules, right?

Re: Anyone finalize after the 3rd mod payment w/ Chase?

Not yet

Made trial payments May/June/July.

Told to make a 4th in august as they delayed again

Called a few days ago, told to make a 5th now and they continue to delay.

If all info is in, payments made, requirements met, how hard is it to review and complete the mod? Why aren't these ready to go initially so when the payments are done its a quick process? We can get approved for a home loan, car loan, etc. in 5 minutes. Do they not have a way to use a similar method?

This is exactly right....we can be approved/denied for anything else in the world in a matter of minutes. Why is this taking months and even years to accomplish???

Re: Anyone finalize after the 3rd mod payment w/ Chase?

Yes you are all correct. I was not told either until yesterday. UGH! They just want excuses to start the run around. II think we should not give them anymore excuses and fax everything again with your 3rd trial payment, read down.

For those who dont have a copy, its exactly the same chase have online. My original foms were different and I filed at a center under chase.

I dont know why some people have monitors and other dont. I aplied in May.
Now the cover letter of the new packet says:

We are a debt collector and we are trying to ...."
We have told your late payments to the credit report..."
If you are in bankrupcy, disregard this notice..."
this is a notice of incomplete request" The told me everything was fine 2 weeks ago

"Thank you for your continued interest in our loss mitigation program. This letter is not an aproval. Suplenmental info needed within 10 days or your aplication will be denied. and we will foreclose". "call if you cant get the docs on time" "you can reinstate fi you want to".

I say send your paperwork NOW before you are against the wall by 10 days. Interesting thing. This letter does not mention CHASE anywhere, just WAMU. I will have to ask about that.

lighthouse Mine didnt say that. I kept one copy. I was not told about it until the last minute, but now it makes sense to send them on about the same time for they to have everything finalized and submitted to a negotiator...good luck

Re: Anyone finalize after the 3rd mod payment w/ Chase?

I recieved the same package stating this was a attempt to collect debit.I have also WAMU was paired up with Duechbank? Comforting thought.
I have good day's and bad, I would like to run away and say have your 300K loss, I wave been the ball in the pinball machine with wamu, I have lost respect for the rotten money grabbers making loans they legally could not do.I plan on spending money on a attourney to see what they did to me in the last year is legal. Changed my loan options, added armatization schedeules to a Variable loan for 40 years?,took away my interest only option?
I felt decieved a year ago, I told them I see a brick wall ahead, I will hit it if you cant account for these changes.you know what they say, I cant help you or why are they doin this? aa sorry I cant help you.
I will tell you that a HUD councelor in my area told me this was not a HAMP document, and Chase agreed to be part of the program. She also said sinply dont pay, and dont respond to the packet. She also hinted that not to be in default makes it near impossible to get them to negotiate.
As I said before. they can eat 300k under market value of thier calculator. If It by chance only slightly sold at auction for more than owed I wound be compensated but I dont think happy thoughts any more.

PS I am to lazy to use spell checker, If my spelling is off overlook it? the banks are not.

Kirk Out.
