Sale Date Postponed per Chase

Hi everyone!
We entered into foreclosure in Feb., and began negotiating a loan mod with Chase the same week. As everyone knows the process is painstaking, and requires ample resolve as well as patience. Long story short, Chase finally asked us to fax in our paperwork (hardship letter, paystubs etc.) on April 16. I've been calling daily to check on the status of the loan mod. Everytime I call, I inform whichever customer rep I'm speaking with that my sale date is May 13. Last week when I called, I was told that Chase has postponed my sale date for 60 days, while they attempt to work out my mod package. Is there any way I can get this in writing? Who should I contact to make sure my home isn't sold on May 13 anyway? Call their attorneys? We're just afraid, and of course relieved that the sale has been postponed. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Oh, I'm in Kentucky if that helps... Thanks in advance!

Hi dnz88,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining...........

You can call the number for the attorney on your foreclosure notice and also contact the court or entitiy where the foreclosure sales are done in your state, to have them check the calendar for that date to see if it is postponed.

DNZ88 - call the trustee. You can get better info and actually talk to someone who can confirm your sd is postponed. Your right not to trust them!!
