load mod - getting royal runaround

told that we could do loan mod, it has been almost 45 days, have been calling weekly, than daily to find out status.

1st told negotiator would be assigned in 7-10 days, after 15 days no negotiatior

loan is in calif. house is in calif, owner occupied, sent hardship letter and other docs requested, they have them.

now am told loan is in legal dept, no one can see anything on loan, once it goes to legal dept. asked why in legal, they state only reason is if i contaced govt agency.

i have contacted attorney general/calif office, because of lawsuit filed against countrywide by att gen office,

dont know where we stand on this, legal dept will not return calls, what is next step, where do i go from here
