BofA says too in arrears to Mod? Help! - Loan Modification Forum

Hi
DTI 50%, decent income, 11 mos. behind.
Been trying to work w/ new servicer BofA, applied in April for mod on 1st, got pre-qualified, then denied due to wrong # for income entered.
Started over, kept getting denied in PREQUAL for no apparent reason.
FINALLY one rep realized my file had "erroneous codes" leftover. She got me pre-qualified for putting arrears onto principal, we agreed, I sent in good faith payment.

Loan Mod "cancelled" 7/22 due to "lack of response"--the day they got my payment! I must have lost their messages in the cascade of dunning? I called today 8/4 and was shocked I was cancelled. Then I couldn't pre qual to start over again--no reason, #s the same. Supervisor NOT helpful, said to pay all arrears or sell the house!

I WANT TO START MAKING PAYMENTS, I can show income to do it, this doesn't make sense!! Advice desperately sought!

I would try an e-mail campaign that possibly included attachments of what you have already provided. 4 sets of eyes are better than one.
