So there we are eating dinner, and discussing how the law makers in Sacramento must have lost their sanity in their serious consideration of making lawyers unavailable to borrowers when Nathan blurts out... "Umf... garble garble." Then when he remembered not to talk with his mouth full, he said, "Hey, man... I wanna introduce Senate Bill F&M 94 which prohibits all lenders from paying for any legal services in association with loan modifications... that would apply to all lenders and all attorneys in that no attorney could be paid for loan modification services on behalf of the lenders until AFTER the lender has screwed the borrower."

Now, why is it ridiculous to think the big professional lenders with their decades of experience would give up their right to affordable legal counsel but Joe Average Homeowner is left to fend for himself against them?

Again, I say... look at these laws carefully... who is really being protected here?
