with all the talk of FBI investigations about mortgage fraud, does anyone think the loan modification rules could change?

"FBI spokesman Special Agent Richard Kolko had no comment on that information, but said that 26 firms were currently under investigation as part of the bureau's mortgage fraud inquiry.

my loans were originated by Fremont Investment. The FDIC shut them down for loose lending practices. We'll see what happens.

the feds mean business... my parent company was raided today by the FBI.. dealings with Lehmans I understand, seizing records...

About time! If you read these blogs you will see many people stating how their loans were forged, changed or completely different then their copies. I'm surprised this didn't start earlier....now that we are in crisis on a HUGE scale the problems we have been going through are being recognized and slowly dealt with.

Bush needs to have a comprehensive investigation before he leaves office so he will an accurate list of those needing pardons on his last day in office.
