Foreclosed Celebrity on CNN Today Endorsing Lenders Not Helping Anyone

Steven Baldwin (actor; youngest "Baldwin brother") was interviewed today by Rick Sanchez/CNN about his recent mortgage/foreclosure/bankruptcy issues. He's a very outspoken conservative. He's already foreclosed, either this yr or last (NY), I believe. He basically reiterated to Rick/CNN what everyone here has been saying, ad nauseum. He said he tried very hard to "work with" his lender but the lender was consistently unreasonable and would not agree to anything truly financially do-able for him, long term. He stressed that he wanted a truly workable, long-term, finanical solution re mortgage and not just the short term, band aid solution that the bank was offering. He endorsed the importance of good mods, that he didn't want to walk, but had no choice, as the lenders aren't helping anyone. Rick's responses were funny as he acted so dumbfounded to hear that lenders aren't helping anyone. The "rrreeeaaalllyyy's?" to Baldwin's solid endorsement that lenders are chumps, were priceless. It would be nice to get someone like this to advocate for homeowners. This is a man, a celebrity that is well known and he is had the SAME issues that all homeowners are going through.
