Talking My Fighting Homeowners of America (FHA) Tee Shirt design

Hey everyone!

I mentioned in another thread that I was working on a tee shirt design for homeowners facing foreclosure, and I have one shirt printed up for my own use. It is titled "FHA - Fighting Homeowners of America" on the front with a badge and a fighting message, and then on the back is a roster of predatory lenders titled "Fighting Homeowners of America Predatory Lender Hall of Shame" with the worst of the worst listed for the whole world to see :-)

So without further ado, here are the pics of the shirt!

Sally

You can market them HERE.

I'd buy one.

Can you add TBW to the list?

Re: My Fighting Homeowners of America (FHA) Tee Shirt design

Hi guys!

Thanks so much for the POSITIVE feedback on my "Fighting Homeowners of America" tee shirt design! I hadn't really thought about selling the shirt, but since there seems to be interest in this forum, I will definitely look into marketing them through Cafepress's website and see what happens. I do need to make a little change in the "Predatory Lender Hall of Shame" design for the back. I realized that the 'roster' was placed quite a ways down under the neckline, so that when I put the shirt on, the names at the bottom got hidden under my jeans.. it needs to be moved up closer to the neckline so that all the names are in plain sight.

Jinksy, I'd be glad to add TBW to the "Hall of Shame"; what is their name spelled out in full? I'm also considering adding Bank of America to the Hall of Shame, since they now own Countrywide, and from reports from members in this forum, they're behaving just as badly as all the other lenders out there, giving borrowers the complete runaround and so on and so forth and ultimately foreclosing on them.

Any suggestions and further feedback is welcomed with open arms-- bless each and every one of you! I will post a link to the shirts on Cafepress when I get the deal set up too :-D

Hugs to all of you! Sally

Hi MMM. I sure would add B of A to the list of scavengers. TBW is Taylor, Bean & Whitaker.

Re: My Fighting Homeowners of America (FHA) Tee Shirt design

Hi again everyone!

I've got my Fighting Homeowners of America, or FHA, t-shirt up for sale at Cafepress.com .... Jinksy, thanks a bunch for suggesting I market it there! {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}

Don't buy it just yet cuz I think the "Hall of Shame" roster is a bit small on the back, so I'm going to use the template to make sure it's the way I want it before uploading again, but the front design looks awesome. Here's the link to my store: Fighting Homeowners of America Store

I will work on the roster tonight and then upload it again tomorrow and let you all know so you can buy. BTW, I added three more names to the Hall of Shame: Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and TBW. That oughta do it! :-D

Re: My Fighting Homeowners of America (FHA) Tee Shirt design

Hey everyone,

I decided to leave the "Predatory Lenders Hall of Shame" roster on the back of the tee shirt as it is, so if you're wanting to order the shirt for yourself and others, by all means go ahead! I'm brimming with ideas using the same theme.

This brings to mind the story on TV recently about this woman who started baking "mortgage cakes" as a way to raise money and save her home from foreclosure.. I guess these tee shirts might be my way of doing it. I know I need $$ for a lawyer. I've had two lawyers drop me like a hot potato in less than a week, right before my crucial foreclosure trial -- talk about being stressed out!!! Fortunately, I had the foresight to file a motion for a continuance last month, which the judge granted, and my trial's been rescheduled for November 23rd. Whewwwwwwww.... what a close call.

Do tell others about my tee shirts and other products. The more people we can get to wear the "Fighting Homeowners of America" shirts, the more empowered we all will be! Go get 'em tigers! :-D
