Ten U.S. banks, including JPMorgan Chase & Co, will be allowed to repay up to $68 billion in federal bailout funds, the U.S. Treasury Department announced Tuesday. The Treasury Department didn’t publicly disclose the 10 banks, but said they were being approved for early repayment of federal funds received under the Troubled Asset Relief Program because the so-called stress tests performed by the government revealed they were healthy enough to pay back the money. The company said it plans to repay the $25 billion federal investment along with dividends at a closing date to be set by the Treasury Department. Minneapolis-based U.S. Bancorp, one of Central Ohio’s 10 largest banks, also confirmed federal approval to repay TARP. The company said it will repay $6.6 billion in preferred stock it issued to the government and intends to buy back a 10-year warrant issued with the stock. Other banks that identified themselves Tuesday as having received approval include: BB&T Corp. Capital One Financial Corp. Morgan Stanley |

Reminds me of US Bank.... |

It's all a charade, game, paraded before the public who they think are dumb. I don't believe a word any of them say. Evil doers. All of 'em. America needs to wake up and put these criminals out to pasture. For good. Including the evil doers in gov't who work for Wall St. and not taxpayers. |
