In Queen Creek today, it's easy to find a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home bought in 2005 or 2006 for $250,000 to $275,000 now listed for foreclosure sale at between $70,000 and $80,000. Queen Creek homes may signal turn-around by Hanna Scott/KTAR (April 23rd, 2009 @ 8:43am) A Canadian company is building hundreds of new homes just outside Queen Creek in what may be a sign that the Valley's housing market is ready to turn. Valley housing analyst R.L. Brown said Mattay Homes' development is proof of what he's been saying: "The wind is beginning to shift for the new house market." The market for resale homes, however, may take a while to hit bottom, said Brown. |
