Freddie Mac official found dead in apparent suicide

I'm sure everyone has seen the news about David Kellermann's death earlier today. He had been appointed CFO of Freddie last year after the credit crisis was already in full swing.

It's sad to hear about the untimely death of anyone, regardless of where one might lay blame for the current mess. I'm sure we'll be learning more about his reasons for choosing to leave this world, his wife, and his daughter. My sympathies go to his family and friends.

Yes, it IS a tragedy and speaks to the terrible state of the economy. The pressure is sometimes too much for a person to bear. My prayers go out to his family. I just learned of a man who killed his wife, 3 young children and himself this week due to financial hardship.
