How to Rent When I'm Kicked to the Curb with Bad Credit and Doggies

I just posted a thread, but wanted to keep these topics separate for (my) clarity's sake.

I have four medium/big dogs. Two are 13+ and may go to doggie heaven in a few years . . . or not. When I am down to two dogs I'll be moving in with a friend whose co-op allows two dogs. My doggies are my family and I would live in a tent under an overpass before parting with any of them.

As per my earlier post, I'm in NJ and need to stay here another two-three years for a job. If B of A kicks me to the curb before I can move in with my friend (as in, I'm down to two dogs), how do I find a small rental home with a yard? Should I offer a massive pet/I have bad credit deposit to landlords? I did a test run on Craiglist for pet-friendly rentals and it was just scammer/swindle city all the way.

Does B of A ever agree to rent foreclosed homes to previous owners? My house is in really bad shape (ex: kitchen is torn apart due to an unfinished remodeling project -- prob needs $20k of work. Electrical and plumbing are also in poor condition).

Could I hire a realtor who handles foreclosures and offer a huge finder's fee to put me in an empty house at a low rent in exchange for keeping the house presentable and the utilities on?

Of all the things that could happen, being homeless with my doggies is the scenario that terririfes me the most.

    Any and all suggestions welcome.

I don't know about your area, but in my area, rental homes that allow pets are a commodity. Most rental homes MIGHT allow only 1-2 small pets. If you can find a rental that will allow many big pets, you have hit the jackpot, and I'm sure you will have A LOT of competition. In order to beat the competition, you may need to be willing to come up with a huge pet deposit, and/or security deposit.

Rentals in my area that accept large pets, get scooped up very quickly.
