Ok so i have been trying to work with B of A since 1/2009, final got trial mod in 12/2011, finished making trial payments 2/2012, new contract came about on March 2012 and closed on July 2012. Prior to all of this...
November 2010 we started the MHAP, have been looking for fed-exed paperwork since March of 2010, but that was another battle in itself, after faxing, mailing, scanning, and re-faxing the same required paperwork we finally get here... Feb 2011, denied due to not owner occupied, LOL, we have lived in house since we bought, never moved, problem is my parent assisted us in buying home, so it is my father, mother, and self. My parents have their own home, expenses, and income, and do not contribute to our household. B of A, Feb 2011, required me submit PROOF that we lived there (Husband, self and two toddlers), submitted proof, and scanned original B of A loan documents showing me on loan. B of A then stated we are in processing, then underwriting, then finalizing, and all of a sudden lost! never could be found... didn't show denied, approved, just lost... received a call from another B of A worker stating that they are trying for an in-house Mod, but this will not affect our B of A Making homes Affordable Program, so i went ahead and gave then the required info, all of a sudden, we received another package filled it out, and we are off, we got another rep, all the other reps are no longer available, phone numbers disconnected, and e-mails out of service.
So long story short... We got in-house with the Help of HUD, our rep at B of A Mary Howe, who is awesome, called me every week with an update, and stated that she has gotten approval for re-entry to MHAP, since we were wrongfully denied, and of course now we have a new rep, and her manager is stating that since we got approved we cannot apply for another year, plus we lose our on the DOJ program!!!!
I have called and left messages, but no return calls, and now i am fustrated again, and need help.. do i seek legal help, or what should i do. It was not our fault we were "LOST" with the original MHAP, who else do i need to talk to or write another 10 to 20 letters to, I have 4 -5"Binders dealing with B of A... Another rep states well you do what you need to do, but a squeaky wheel... what would you take by that????
Please any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
