Our home is financed with BOA and is a Fannie Mae backed loan
from what I understand. We closed our business in 2010 and have been
struggling the worst in our lives to try to make ends meet. My husband
is now employed, but it's a lot less than what he previously made. I
am still unemployed. We thankfully received mortgage assistance
through SC Help until March 2012. We are now 3 payments behind on the
first.
The second was turned over to Real time Resolutions last year. We were
told by BOA that the second was charged off, but now RTR is hounding
us for money. There is little information on them and we are not sure
if we should try to pay them something or not??
We have been trying for 2 years to get someone at BOA to help us. The
last acct. mgr. we talked to said nothing was wrong and they cannot
help, etc. Now we cannot get anyone to call us at all. We do keep
getting letters that we now have a new acct. mgr and that person can
never be reached. We sent in paperwork to BOA home retention as asked
with no response. We received a letter saying they will start
foreclosure proceedings if we are not current by 6/16/12. We thought
about going to a NACA event, but cannot get to the next one in TX
since we are in SC. We will have some money from a relative sometime
in July and are trying to figure out what we can do to hold on to our
house. We can't afford to pay everyone. Any help or advice is appreciated!
