    Thanks for your post.

I'm glad you think highly of that outfit.

Folks here decide which, if any, of the many other online groups and forums to frequent or join, and there are many!

FWIW, personally I see nothing particularly unique about that outfit.

I didnt mean to offend anyone just trying to help others & get as much information as possible. Just thought I would share.

using the numbers mayela provided in the "do you qualify for a moidification" i did the calc

fredk - I have not run the numbers myself nor do I intend to. I do recall Mayela had posted them over on another thread. My decision not to is predicated upon BofA's continued lack of accountability. Burden of proof is on BofA. It seems they very rarely follow through with their findings or lack thereof in a clear concise manner. In Mayela's case what she did receive is rather vague & leaves too much up to speculation or having to guess which program BofA is attempting to qualify her for. That's just plain deceptive on BofA's part. The only way Mayela can figure it out is to start asking the right questions.

i cant see the end game here

house is not affordable under hamp even if forebear 30%, what other plan is going to do better ?

mayela has mentioned a hoa lien, with 4 years of no mortgage has that lien been satisfied ?

does she really expect over 400,000 of a principal reduction ?

she should have thousands of dollaras saved with 4 years of no mortgage, keep that and bank more till the inevitable foreclosure happens

rent for a time then buy again with a great down payment when she ecan

thata my end game if i'm being realistic

I concur with this. It is logical. The only other thing is to try to buy more time to save if you have not saved already in challenging the trustee's lawful right to forclose. You must be real good though at this and know a month in advance what you are going to use to stop the next sale. Wish I had four years, I only had six months.
