    now in perm mod dept. how long now?

    after letters do the OOP and my case being escalated and reviewed after underwriters initially declined my mod... the appeal passed and i was just advised its in the perm mod department.

    how long till i hear something? i assumed/ and was told the next step is getting a perm mod offer. is this true?

    Hi Jewells.

    Glad to hear the OOP was able to get your case back in review. There is no telling exactly how long it will take from this point as everyones timeline will vary. It could be anywhere from just a couple of weeks to a couple of months. Until a decision is made make sure to follow up at least once to twice a week for updates and to make sure everything is ok..

    i wonder who i should call? i dont have the person's name or contacts in perm mod... what exactly does perm mod do? i was told that is where the NPV test is run.

    I got a call yesterday from a Megan McPhearson (sp?) stating that my case had been escalated by Freddie Mac. Even with that escalation, she told me 20-30 days to get my perm mod documents.

    Hopefully your timeline is about the same.

    thanks lisasxr the OOP staff told me that "typically" an escalated case remains escalated from department to department but he could not guarantee anything obviously. good luck to you. chime in on your progress!
