I applied for bank of america MHA about 4 weeks ago. I've sent back fedex papers twice and haven't heard anything in about 2 weeks.
Well yesterday was the 1st and when i went to make my house payment it says that my account needs "special attention". I will call tomorrow.
I was wondering if anyone else experienced this and what it may mean?
Yup, as soon as you contact them to let them know you need some help- you get locked out of mortgage pay on the web. I wouldn't even waste your time trying to call them. I spent a long time on the phone only to get a village idiot who didn't know why it was like that. Then of course they want to take payment over the phone and charge you a huge fee for it. I just used my banks bill pay to send them a check (until I quit paying). Hope this helps. I have read from many others that this was the case with them as well.

Go to the local branch with a statement and pay or mail it. Calling will burn you out, if it's only a payment is best to pay at Branch.
I have never had one problem calling the payment in. They will sometimes ask you if you want to pay the whole payment or the trial payment though. Just tell them the trial payment! Be sure to write down the confirmation number! Also, it will take anywhere from 5-14 days for your check to be taken out of your bank account. It happens to everyone on here.
