8/29/09: received Trial Payment package
10/1: made first trial payment
12/19: made fourth trial payment (required to make 3)
1/13: sent email to OOP
1/14: received call from OOP
1/18: assigned negotiator
1/26: received final MHA mod; effective 2/1
alot of banks are blocking off their "Senior Up's" email accounts as well as re-routing their direct lines to CSRs due to the overwhelming amount of phone calls and emails.
No more escalating to the OOP?

I dont know... I know some at my lender (PNC) have re-routed their phones. I contacted the neg. we were working with (CSA for loan mod dept) and was told this was happening along with emails due to being overwhelmed.
I'd assume its going to be like wildfire throughout the banking industry and, apparently, its already starting. Doesnt seem right to me!
ETA: Of course, it could be that the inbox is full too.. and the server is just kicking it ?
We've forced them into hiding! I hear there are some nice, roomy caves in Afghanistan...

Sometimes if their mailboxes are full it'll bounce. Dig through the email headers and see what it says the failed error is.
Sent an email last night to my negotiator (Joel Torres) and it went through, I think. Nothing bounced back.
OK, Roller, this is good news. Email Barbara since she is the biggest of all the cheeses. She'll have Cynthia call you. Make sure you send Barbara a current phone number and carry your phone around at all times. Cynthia is impossible to reach on the phone, so if you miss her call, you'll be crying.
Oh, and don't forget to ask Cynthia for that follow-up letter with the negotiator's info. Then get ready to play phone games with the negotiator. Hope you get one of the good ones, contact wise! Mine does email!!!!!! I have yet to reach loan mod first base, but woohoo, my negotiator does email! That should keep me happy for another year and another $10,000 in arrears.

laldana....I am new to this website, and after 5 months of not getting anywhere with B of A I decided to email Barbara, and just today a woman by the name of Breanna called me (no Cynthia). Of course, I wasn't expecting any reaction from B of A, atleast not this fast. I missed Breanna's call and called her back 10 minutes later and left a message.Haven't heard anything back from her, but my workout status info changed on my account. It used to say that I was approved and now it doesn't say anything. The whole paragrah is deleted. So confused!
My question to you is: who is your negotiator? I so hope mine is the email type, cause then there is a trail to everything that is said...

Yeah, the phone experience was most definitely NOT for me. I hate phones under the best of circumstances and erupt if I have to be on one of those things for more than two minutes, so you can imagine...
And these people have THE WORST phone etiquette in history, I am sure. Same stuff happened with me missing a call, etc.
Sure glad I was matched with someone who does email. Hope you can get the same. You never miss a message, and you can always reply. What could be better? Yeah, I know, a loan mod...
I sent an email to Barbara from my work email. I had to recall it and we have this very neat program that MUST tell us who's email it was recalled from so I guess my email was routed to danielle.gaj@bankofamerica.com so the email was recalled from her/him but it was also sent to Barbara's email. So they might be forwarded to something.....wonder who she is.
I work for a huge corporation with crazy security measures so I asked for permission to send personal emails out on reference to my home. Got Approved as long as it doesn't affect my daily work :-)
