I brought this to my attorney's attention but all he said was, "that was what showed up." I'm confused about this. I found a number for Central Mortgage, I had never heard of them before, and they stated they had no record of my account. Why wouldn't GMAC show up on my paperwork instead of Central Mortgage? Some attorneys in Houston tried to foreclose on me in January 09. I sent them a RESPA letter and they then "dismissed motion without prejudice." Now, however this same law firm is listed on my bankruptcy paperwork asking for their fees to be paid. My mortgage paperwork shows Home Comings Financial as the lender and includes the MERS stuff and Freddie Mac. I am very confused at this point and would sure appreciate any input. Thanks so much! |
