Certainly not. I very much appreciate and respect their expertise and experience. Sure there are a few that behave badly, but they don't represent ALL attorneys. (Hey, my husband is a cop, and I can say that we deal with that mentality all the time). My comment would be, where would we all be without them? I am desperate for skilled legal help in Washington State. My goal is to sue my two mortgage companies for TILA/RESPA violations that I have already had confirmed by two different attorneys. Perhaps it's plain "caseload overload", or perhaps my case doesn't seem too exciting, but I CAN recover attorney's fees if successful, and intend to. I have numerous probable TILA/RESPA violations, almost certainly cannot expect either lender to produce a note if asked, and I also have a mortgage origination broker who has been found guilty of the violations I aledge suffered by the State of Washington and is currently paying restitution to a staggering number of victims. I rescinded both loans in May, and received no further response from the lenders. If you know of a resource where I can search further for legal help, please alert me. Thanks. |
