He had a 1st and 2nd with Aurora. Aurora informed him that his 2nd was charged off and they will do a loan mod for the first. My question is, is the 2nd mortgage now unsecured and discharged? He was going to walk away from the house but Aurora is now making mods after Chapter 7. The are offering a 3 month trial and the payments are about 1/2 of what he was paying. Is the collection agency now on the deed/lien?
