NO LEGAL ADVICE HERE - JUST GENERAL INFORMATION - ANY SIMILARITIES TO ANYONE'S ACTUAL SITUATION IS JUST ONE HECK OF A COINCIDENCE. This is a question best answered in a face to face (in person) conference with your attorney. Spend the money for an hour of time, and go over each property and learn your rights and legal options with regard to each property. The you can make an educated decision about how to proceed... Which one do you modify first? Do you short sale one? Modify the other? Etc. - Paul
